Turquoise Kitchen Bar & Grill

We had a fantastic meal at Turquoise Kitchen — truly delicious Turkish food that exceeded all expectations (we even went two days in a row because we loved it so much!). As Eastern Europeans, we often miss traditional dishes like chicken liver — and wow, this place absolutely delivered. It was out of this world: packed with flavour and perfectly cooked. Special shout-out to Aayush, who went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely welcome from start to finish. Also, it’s very kid-friendly, which made the whole visit even better for our family. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

This is my third time coming here. I really loved the food and the service was superb, my server Mohammed was friendly and helpful. He always asked if we were enjoying ourselves which was really good. I think he deserves a raise!!! But overall I really enjoyed the food, service and ambiance

From the moment we stepped in, we were captivated by the chic and refined atmosphere. It’s the perfect blend of modern elegance and warm Mediterranean charm—a real treat for the senses. The food? Absolutely delicious, and the portions were spot on. Every dish was a true celebration of Turkish culinary heritage. Our evening started with an impressive array of starters: velvety smooth hummus, grilled sucuk bursting with flavour, perfectly seared hellimi, tender barbecue short ribs, and crispy falafel. Every bite was a wow moment! For mains, I couldn’t resist the Adana kebap—juicy, full of spices, and beautifully presented. I also had a taste of my wife’s lamb chops, which were equally divine. Both dishes were perfectly cooked, and the attention to detail in the presentation really set them apart. And of course, no Turkish meal is complete without a sweet ending! Whether you choose the famous Turkish baklava or indulge in one of their mouth-watering cakes, dessert is an absolute must. A special mention to the fantastic team at Turquoise Kitchen—your professionalism and patience made our experience even more memorable. If you’re in Chelmsford, this is a dining experience you don’t want to miss. Can’t wait to return!

Fantastic set-up in the heart of the town centre. The atmosphere is wonderful, and everything is well furnished and nicely kept. All service was polite, friendly and quick. Food was excellent. Picture is the mixed grill and the chicken shish, which were delicious. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Went for dinner with friends... ambience, food, and drinks were good. However, the opening hours online DON'T match their actual opening... they close at 10.30 pm! But says 12am online. The venue is much smaller than what it looks like online. I must say customer service was very good, though. Parking was also an issue.

Lovely Mother's Day lunch with my Mum and my son who treated us. We were a little late due to traffic and a diversion as a road was closed. However, we were warmly welcomed and taken straight to a table (we were able to choose where we wanted to sit as it wasn't busy) We went on a Saturday at 1.30. We were asked if we wanted drinks first and weren't rushed as we chose our food selection. Mum isn't a big eater so chose a starter of bbq sticky wings with a side of rice and salad which they brought out at the same time as mine and my son's mains. We had a delicious selection of cold starters with lovely warmed bread. Also falafel with humus and salad plus crispy fried calamari rings. Our mains were chicken shish and a mixed shish, both served with rice and salad. All were very tasty and the portion size was good. We finished with 2 Turkish coffees and a Turkish tea. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal and time spent together. Lovely decor and the ambience was comfortable and enjoyable. First visit here and no doubt, not the last!
